P.G. Hospital was started in October 1989 by Dr S.L. Mukherji (DADA), the father figure of Orthopedics in Jabalpur and Mahakaushal region, with a quest to delivering the best of Orthopedic and Trauma Care, to the people in and around Jabalpur.
He was joined by his able son, Dr. Abhijeet Mukherji in 1990, who after completing his MS (ortho) went to Bombay and thereafter to U.K. for advance training in Joint Replacement and Spine Surgery. He returns back to his home town with a vision to give the patients international level of treatment and facilities.
Since then, both father and son have targeted their goal of setting high standards of orthopedic, advanced fracture treatment (e.g.lllizavro techniques, minimally invasive fractures fixation with locking plates and nails, JESS fixation) deformity corrections, spine surgery, mini open Disectomy, endoscopic disc surgery, spine fixation, stabilization and fusion (for trauma and instability, vertebroplasty) and advanced arthritis management, Arthroscopy and total joint replacement (Hip & Knee)
Today, it’s a 45 bedded multispeciality hospital, serving to all class of patients with multiple facilities and departments, having fully equipped ICU for all type of emergency management, Luxurious Suite Room, Deluxe A/C Rooms, Private Rooms, Semi-Private ward and General wards, separately for male & female patients and are connected with centrally fitted duct for fresh and air-cooled atmosphere.
The hospital has two well equipped operation theatres, fitted with state of art Laminar Air Flow System (AHU), required for specialized joint replacement surgeries and fixation surgeries.
The X-Ray department has 1 fixed and 4 mobile x-ray units, in addition to 3 modern computer assisted C Arm Image intensifiers required for precision work in closed reduction of fractures and minimally invasive long bone fracture fixation surgeries by closed nailing and pinning techniques and for endoscopic spine surgeries.
The pathology department is equipped with computerized hematology cell counter for precious tastings. We also have well equipped Physiotherapy department for all type of patients.
